Located in the beautiful and tranquil north Somerset countryside just outside Bristol, Cleracres Cattery has been owned and operated by proprietor Mrs Cathy Baker since 1991.
The cattery grounds and its chalets are always maintained to the highest standards. Every chalet fulfils the recognised standards and guidelines for cat welfare and every precaution is taken to keep your cat safe, secure, healthy and contented while they’re boarding with us.

We understand how important it is to your peace of mind that you know your pets are happy and well cared for. We take that duty of care very seriously, and you have the reassurance of knowing that your cat’s comfort and welfare is always our highest priority during their stay with us.
Fully licensed
Cleracres Cattery is fully licensed by DEFRA via the local authority (Bath & North East Somerset), which means that we have achieved full compliance with the requirements of the Animals Boarding Establishments Act, passing and fulfilling all relevant inspections. We also fulfil or exceed all standards specified by the former Feline Advisory Bureau.
Origin of our name
Our name is commonly misspelled as Clearacres, but in fact the name originates with the Clery family who once owned the site and in 1971 founded the original cattery business that we took over in 1991.
