Cleracres Cattery: Terms and
Conditions
In consideration of
the acceptance by the proprietors of the cat for boarding, the
Owner must agree by the following terms in order to qualify for
insurance:
1. The Owner must
warrant that the cat is in fit and sound condition and free of
fleas.
2. Insurance will
only cover illness or injury that is contracted whilst boarding at
Cleracres Cattery and is proven to be the fault of the cattery.
The insurance will not cover feline enteritis and cat flu.
Veterinary fees other than the above will be paid by the Owner.
3. Such expenses as
are incurred in item 2 are wholly covered by the terms of the
insurance, with the exception of feline enteritis and cat flu, in which case all
costs incurred must be met by the Owner and such charges are to be
paid before removal of the animal by the Owner.
4. In the event of
any monies payable being four weeks in arrears the Proprietor of
the cattery shall be entitled, without prior notice to the Owner,
to dispose of the animal(s) or any of them by way of sale or
destruction at any time thereafter and to retain the net proceeds
of any sales, if any, in part or full settlement of their claim.
The sale or destruction of the animal(s) shall not release the
Owner from liability of any unpaid fees or charges due after
giving credit for the proceeds if any.
5. The Owner must
accept the terms of the Insurance Certificate. Insurance expires
at the end of the period specified and if extension of boarding or
cover are required notice in advance must be given by the Owner to
the Proprietor and additional charges paid.
6. All possible
care and attention is given to the animals but it is clearly
understood that all animals are only accepted at the Owner's risk
and upon acceptance of the terms.
7. No
responsibility can be taken for collars, leads, containers etc.
left at the cattery.
8. Deposits are
non-refundable.
9. All cats must
have valid and up to date vaccination certificates and these must
be presented for inspection before we can accept the cat for
boarding. We cannot accept un-neutered tom cats for
boarding.
The Owner must
sign a valid insurance declaration warranting that they have read
and understood and agree to abide by the above terms before we can
accept a cat for boarding.
