We have taken great pride in updating and modernizing Cleracres over the years. One of our most ambitious projects was to take a slice off the garage and turn it into a new cat kitchen, doubling the size of the original. This has enabled our team to operate more efficiently, planning and preparing food for our feline guests. The cattery itself benefits from a new roof that covers the chalets and runs. Our main section has had all the outside runs replaced and the whole cattery has been re-meshed. We have also added Perspex windows over the sun decks (as recommended by the Feline Advisory Bureau) to ensure that no physical contact is possible between cats. As a double security measure we have what we call an ‘Escape Run’ which is a corridor, all open, with wire mesh that ensures complete safety of all cats should they run out during cleaning, feeding etc.
